The Repair Process
Step 1 - Estimate: Your vehicle will be inspected in our spacious and well-lit estimate area. Data is then entered into our computerized estimating system which allows us to produce the most accurate estimate possible. If your vehicle is not drivable, we have Enterprise Rent A Car at our facility and they will meet with your regarding a rental vehicle.
Step 2 - Insurance Approval: The insurance company will review the estimate. This is when the insurance company determines whether the vehicle is repairable or a total loss. Once this process is completed, we begin repairing the vehicle.
Step 3 - Disassembly: Once a vehicle is disassembled, sometimes hidden damage is found and inner structure repairs can be assessed. Sometimes, this may require scheduling insurance re-inspection and ordering additional parts.
Step 4 - Gather Parts: We order parts as soon in the process as possible. We employee a full-time parts person that specializes in making sure the right parts arrive as soon as possible. The repair process cannot begin until structural parts are received.
Step 5 - Structure Repair: This is where the unibody is returned to factory specifications. A sophisticated electronic measuring system is used to monitor all phases of this process. A computer-based measurement system is used to analyze the structureof your vehicle. This system ensures an accurate repair.
Step 6 - Body Repair: We replace exterior body panels and do all metal finishing that may be required. The vehicle now starts coming back to life as sheet metal is installed and aligned.
Step 7 - Paint: Preparation is of the utmost importance. The panels to be painted will be prepped, primed and sealed to ensure good paint adhesion. This critical process is performed in our paint prep booths. The paint is mixed in our computerized mixing machine room, then color and clear coat is applied in our special down-draft paint booths. These state-of-the-art paint booths make sure the paint is applied in an environment free of dust and baked at the optimal temperature and time.
Step 8 - Reassembly: Final moldings and detail pieces are put back on the vehicle in the re-assembly area. All vehicle systems are checked during this process.
Step 9 - Detailing: We have a complete detail shop with full-time professional detailers who wash and buff your vehicle in preparation for delivery back to you. Your vehicle is then road-tested and inspected to make sure the repairs meet or exceed all industry standards., and our strict standards.
Step 10 - Delivery: We will contact you to schedule a convenient time for you to pick-up your vehicle. We have an inside well-lighted delivery area, so you can inspect your vehicle and take delivery in any type of weather. We will go over the final paperwork with you, take your rental car return, and answer any questions you may have. Best of all, you will drive off in your clean, fully-repair vehicle.
